Tweens, have you always wanted to learn to knit or crochet? Or do you already
know the basics but want to learn more?
Join our once a month club! Our
expert teacher, Diane, will be here to help you learn new skills to make
scarves, hats, headbands, etc.
Bring your own yarn and crochet hook or
knitting needles. Everyone from beginners to experts are welcome. Registration is encouraged, but walk-ins are always welcome!

Join Bedtime Math’s Crazy 8s, where you’ll build stuff, run and jump, make music, make a mess...it’s a totally new kind of math club. You’ll get to do mischief-making activities like Glow-in-the-Dark Geometry, Bouncy Dice and Toilet Paper Olympics, and you’ll get to take home some cool gadgets, too. Each week there is something new!
Every Wednesday in March beginning at 6:00pm.

Do you like to set up dominoes and invite friends to watch them fall down? Come help us build a giant domino chain reaction at the library! Have fun setting up dominoes, meet new friends and learn some new tips and tricks. Then, stay and watch the whole connected project topple down with one push at the end of the hour! Bring your friends. Parents, be sure to bring your cameras and capture the building and toppling moments. Register today! Dominoes provided by Zeal Credit Union.

Help us sing our Christmas Carols loud and clear so that Santa can find his way here for a visit. Join us outside in the Children's Garden at 6 p.m. for caroling, cookies, hot cocoa and a live reindeer. Then go inside for crafts and a visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus!
Parents desiring photos of their child with Santa and Mrs. Claus are asked to bring their own camera.
To help us know how many supplies to buy, please sign up here if you're interested in attending.
The library will close at 12:00p.m. on Wednesday, November 23 as part of the Thanksgiving holiday and will be closed through Friday, November 25.
We will reopen on Saturday, November 26.

Celebrate International Games Day at the library by playing games from around the world!
Board games, card games, video games...there will be something for all ages. We will have snacks and other fun stuff available!
Calling all Pokemon Go players...we will be having a Pokemon battle at our library gym from 2:00-4:00pm. Bring your A game! There will also be some lures set up for you to restock for the big battle.

Spaces are still open for our Adventures in Non-Fiction: Animal Tracks! program on Sunday, November 13; 1:00-2:00PM.
Holly Vaughn from the Michigan DNR will be here to present a program on Michigan animals and their tracks. Participants will each make a plaster cast of an animal track. Select a book about a Michigan animal from our Non-Fiction collection (J590's) to read before attending the program.
Ages 6 and up, parents are welcome to attend as well.
Looking for help with your child's homework? Free assistance will be available on a weekly walk-in basis. A retired teacher volunteer will provide homework help for students in grades 1-6. This service will be offered on Tuesdays from 4:30-6pm, beginning October 18. Stop by Meeting Room C and check in for 20 minutes or more of homework assistance!
