Youth Non-Fiction Challenge

For the month of August, we are challenging you to read non-fiction books from the different "Dewey Decimal" number groups.  Pick up your game sheets at the Youth Services Desk and explore topics like mythology, computer science, biographies, wild animals and more!  Each box you complete will earn you an entry slip for a chance to win a jar of treats! As a bonus, you'll get credit for doing a fun activity with your family. Do all 12 boxes and receive a free book to keep and be entered in a finishers' drawing. Turn in sheets by September 6.

The 2014 Youth Summer Reading Program has Begun!

Our Youth Summer Reading Program has officially begun! Stop by the library anytime to obtain your reading log. The program runs from June 14th to July 26th.

This summer, we're challenging you to read 600 minutes; that's only 20 minutes a day! For every 100 minutes you read (up to 600), you get a prize. Once you've read all 600 minutes, stop in to receive a free book, an invitation to a wacky science show, and an entry slip for our grand prize drawing, where you have a chance to win a Kindle Fire!

We hope to see you soon!
