Library Open Sundays
The library has begun its regular hours for the school year. We will now be open on Sundays from 12-5 pm until Memorial Day weekend in 2020.

Labor Day Holiday
The library will be closed Saturday, August 31 - Monday September 2 in honor of Labor Day. We will reopen at 9:00 am on Tuesday, September 3. This will mark the end of our summer hours. We will be open 12:00-5:00 pm on Sundays beginning September 8 until Memorial Day weekend 2020.

The Life of Stan Lee
This year, the library was pleased to host John Lay for a presentation about the life of American comic book writer, editor, publisher, and producer Stan Lee. The program was recorded by WLND and the video of the presentation is available on YouTube: The Life of Stan Lee.

Check Out a WiFi Hotspot!
Westland residents 18+ can now borrow a WiFi Hotspot from the library. This new lending program is a free service that allows you to take the Internet wherever you go!
Remote Library Card Sign-Up
During this time of COVID-19 precautions, Westland residents can remotely sign up for library cards!
New cards will be valid for online resources for one month. Apply here.
