National Writing Contest

Do you have the courage to set your stories free? Enter this National Writing Contest by October 30th. All participating writers are to submit no more than one short story of 8,000 characters maximum in length, spaces included. The contest is co-sponsored by the Public Library Association, Short Edition, the Knight Foundation, and the Fostering Creative Community Connections project.

Night Sky at the Library

Check out the night sky at the library with the University Lowbrow Astronomers on Tuesday, October 16 from 7:00-8:30 pm. Bring your own telescope or let the astronomers show you what they have in their telescopes. All ages welcome! Registration encouraged
