Summer Concerts are here!

The 2011 Summer Concert Series is ready and rarin' for another fun-filled time out at the Library Pavilion. Starting on June 16th with Westland's own Waco Country Band and running through August 11th with Toppermost Beatles Tribute band, we have some great evenings of music ahead for you. Also in June, we have the Gratitude Steel Band bringing their Caribean dance rhythms on June 23rd, and Stolen Moments bringing their soft and smooth sounds on June 30th. Check our Events Calendar for a full schedule or stop at the Circulation Desk for a copy.

All concerts are on Thursdays again this year and go from 7-8:30 p.m. A 50-50 Raffle benefitting the Friends of the Westland Public Library will occur at each concert. Limited seating available, so bring a chair if you have one. In case of bad weather, we'll go inside the library. See you on Thursdays!

New Location for Special Collections

We have finished some rearranging and shifting of the adult fiction area.  At the beginning of the fiction section you will now find the ESL, foreign language fiction, and the adult graphic novel collections.  The large print collection has been spaced so it is easier to find items.
