Free Legal Resources

Michigan Legal Help is a website for people who are handing legal issues on their own without a lawyer. They provide self-help tools for a variety of legal topics including divorce, landlord/tenant matters, and end of life planning. Visit michiganlegalhelp.org for more information.

The Library of Michigan subscribes to a database called Gale Legal Forms to provide all Michigan residents with access to a wide selection of state-specific (and multi-state) legal forms across the most popular legal areas. Visit our Databases A-Z page to access Gale Legal Forms.
