Bio
Jennifer first came to the Westland Library in 2017 as the Head of Adult Services and has been the director since 2020. As the director, Jennifer enjoys engaging in long-range planning for the library. Her responsibilities include preparing and administering the budget, implementing the library’s strategic plan to ensure we are best serving the residents of Westland, and promoting the library throughout the community. Jennifer is an avid knitter who enjoys listening to Hoopla historical romance audiobooks while working on her myriad of works in progress.

My favorite part of our collection is Hoopla. While historical romances are my go-to, I came across the Dublin Trilogy series by Caimh McDonnell was hooked from the first sentence. The narrator, Morgan C. Jones, is spectacular in telling this story about three of the most unlikely detectives you’ll ever meet. The plot is well-paced, the characters are quirky and lovable and the wit and humor carries throughout the book.
