Bio
Susan’s first position at the Westland Library (2004) was a reference librarian who was also responsible for the administration of the catalog system. In 2018, Susan became the Head of Technical Services, which is responsible for the processing and cataloging of all materials. In 2020, she also began supervising the library aides, who are responsible for the materials check-in process as well as shelving and shelf-reading. Prior to Westland, Susan was the Library Director at the Harbor Beach Area District Library for nine years. She moved back to be closer to her family.

Susan received her undergraduate and Master’s degrees from the University of Michigan. While working at The Henry Ford, she cataloged the kitchen exhibit.
