What is a Storytime Kit?

A Storytime Kit is a selection of themed books and activities which allow you to take library storytimes home with you! With over 55 unique Storytime Kits, kids and caretakers will enjoy playing and learning important concepts. 

Why should I check out a Storytime Kit?

You can learn more about a specific topic, like colors or nocturnal animals, get excited about an upcoming season or holiday, or address any nerves about new experiences like going to the doctor or welcoming a new sibling. Storytime Kits are also a great tool if your child loves storytime and would like more or if you cannot attend our regular storytimes. Each kit includes ideas for participation, songs and rhymes about the topic, and an additional list of books available to check out.

How do I get a Storytime Kit?

Browse our collection or place a hold on a kit through our catalog. It may take up to three business days to process your request and you will be notified once it is ready for pickup. Each person is allowed to check out up to three Storytime Kits at a time. Kits can be checked out for two weeks at a time.
