Book Club in a Bag

Everything you need for your book club

Each Book Club in a Bag is a book discussion kit containing at least five copies of a title, an author bio, a discussion guide and other information about the book. Book Club in a Bag kits may be borrowed for six weeks to allow time to read, discuss and return the material.

Where do I get a kit?

Our Book Club in a Bag books are located at the end of the fiction collection and bags are available at the Information desk. A full list of current titles is available below. You can find out if a particular Book Club in a Bag title is available by searching our online catalog.

How does it work?

1. Find an available title on the shelf.
2. Grab the books and discussion guide, and request your Book Club Bag at the Information Desk.
3. Take the bag and items up to the Circulation Desk for Checkout. The entire kit composed of the bag, discussion guide, and copies of the book will be checked out to one cardholder. The cardholder is responsible for all content of the kit and for any material fees incurred.
4. All materials must be returned to the library together. Items may not be returned individually.
