Bio
Starting out as a Library assistant in 2018, Katelin has grown through a variety of roles including Technology Aide, Library Associate, and Adult Services Librarian before becoming Head of Adult Services in 2025. In this role, Katelin oversees adult programming, collection development, and outreach services, working to ensure the library meets the evolving needs of the Westland Community both on-site and beyond. Through their time at the library, Katelin has been deeply involved in community engagement, from leading book clubs and art programs, and is dedicated to creating inclusive, accessible, and engaging library experiences for all.

Never one to be idle, Katelin has an extensive list of hobbies, ranging from writing prose, cross-stitching, and reading, to tabletop games, video games, calligraphy, cartography and creating illustrations for their projects.
