Friends Shop
Run by the Friends of the Westland Public Library, the Friends Shop is a used book store located near the entrance of the library.
Home to over 4,000 books, the Friends Shop is always open during the library’s hours of operation.
All purchases from the Friends Shop can be made at the Circulation Desk. Used book sales from the Friends Shop goes towards funding special events and collection enhancements within the library.
Book Donations
The Friends of the Library are currently accepting book donations for the Friends Shop. Donations to the Friends can be made on the following days and times:
- Wednesdays from 1 PM – 7 PM
- Saturdays from 10 AM – 2 PM
Two boxes or bags per person may be dropped off each day within the library at the Circulation Desk.

The Friends Shop is currently offering large paperback books for 25¢ each.
