The Library Board meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm. Board meetings are held at the library and are open to the general public unless otherwise indicated.

More ways to get involved at Westland Public Library
From board meetings to reading challenges to book sales and more! Our Library offers many ways for patrons of all ages to have a voice and support the Westland Public Library.
Book Sales
The Friends of the Library operate a Friends Shop which has over 4,000 used books for sale. The Friends hold approximately four book sales a year.
Programs & Challenges
The Library holds a variety of programs and challenges for our community throughout the year including Summer Reading for all ages, Winter Reading challenges, and more.
