Participants in the adult Summer Reading program can also submit their entries online.
The Westland Seed Library is participating in the One Seed, One State initiative, promoting the cultivation of nutritious food and the saving of seeds by collectively growing one variety of seed. This year's seed is the Boston pickling cucumber!
Stop by the library for your packet of seeds and information on cultivating this plant! These are available as a "Bonus Borrow" and will not count against our normal 5-packet seed borrowing limit. Supplies are limited, so please limit to 1 packet per family.

The Westland Seed Library is now open! Our seed library is a collection of seeds that are freely available to community members. You may borrow seeds to take home, grow, and enjoy, with the intention of saving seeds at the end of the growing season to return to the seed library for others to borrow next season. Stop by the library to check it out!
The Westland Library, as part of Download Destination, is now working with four other institutions to share Libby collections. This means that you can now have access to over 200,000 MORE titles!

Westland residents 18+ can now borrow a WiFi Hotspot from the library. This new lending program is a free service that allows you to take the Internet wherever you go!
During this time of COVID-19 precautions, Westland residents can remotely sign up for library cards!
